No Flag

It appears Ocozocoautla does not use a municipal flag.

Coat of Arms

The coat of arms was adopted through a call for submissions held under Municipal President Javier Maza (2021-2024), being unveiled on 18 June 2022. It was designed by Ignacio Castro Vera who received 15000 pesos as the prize, with a jury composed of: Amín Miceli Ruiz, Matza Maranto Zepeda, Ismael Pérez Flores, and Julio Alegría. More than 40 entries were received; the call for submissions started in May the same year. Under the shield is ornamentation; above the shield are leaves, when combined with the yellow border forming the likeness of a pineapple, as the city is known for its production of this fruit. At the bottom of the border, the ichthys is depicted for the Catholic faith of the municipality. Going around the bottom of the border is its name, "OCOZOCOAUTLA DE ESPINOSA". The inner area is divided diagonally into two sections: the top one is green and depicts a jaguar, while the lower one is red, both depicting the fauna of the El Ocote jungle.
