Presentation of Canteleu

The municipality of Canteleu (14,244 inhabitants in 2018; 1,761 ha) is located 10 km west of Rouen.
Forests covered 70% of the municipal territory, the Roumare forest (4,000 ha) included.
The writer Gustave Flaubert (1821–1880) lived in Canteleu at the hamlet of Croisset for 40 years and died here.
