In 1935 the jewish members of the club should be expelled.
The christian members however performed an act of solidarity and left the club themselves completely, being aware of the fact,
that they could continue rowing in any club but their jewish comrades in none.
So only the jewish members and one coach remained until the club was dissolved by German government in 1937.
Since 1935 the remaining members gave the club the name Jüdischer Ruder-Club "Welle-Poseidon".
Description of flag:
From 1935 to 1937 a flag with a pencil inscription "JRC" upon the horizontal crossbar on the hoist side was used.
For it should not provoke others, the inscription was very inconspicuous.
