    SG Elbmarsch Coat of Arms

The shield is divided per fess. Above is a blue, passant lion, red tongued and armed in a golden (=yellow) field. Below a green field divided by a bendy wavy silver (=white) line with a golden horseshoe in the upper sinister corner.
    Meaning:
The lion is part of many coats of arms of this county. I believe, that it was taken from the coat of arms of the Dukes of Braunschweig-Lüneburg. The wavy line is symbolising the river Elbe. The horseshoe is a very old symbol, which is said to bring luck. It is derived from an ancient moon goddess, having the same form (crescent). The horseshoe is also symbolising equitation. And it is a symbol of luck for 14 villages symbolized by 14 holes. (p.20)

Source: I spotted this flag on 29 March 2007 opposite to the bureau of municipal affairs in Drage. The image of flag matches the description given in Stefan Schwoon's database.

    Drage Coat of Arms

The shield shows a black draw-well in a silver (=white) field.

It is a yellow over green horizontal bicolour, both colours divided by a white, wavy fess. In the centre of the flag the coat of arms is superimposed in that way, that the wavy lines on sheet and coat of arms are congruent.

The flag was chosen among eight drafts on 27 August 2008 and was adopted on 24 September 2008. The draft was made by Klaus-Michael Schneider.

    Marschacht Coat of Arms

It is a golden (=yellow) field superimposed by a green fess containing a white, wavy fess.
Meaning: The wavy line is symbolising river Elbe. The green fess is symbolising the dams at river Elbe. Green is furthermore the colour of fertility. Yellow is the colour of prosperity. The colours of the flag should repeat the colours of the coat of arms. In order to distinguish the flag from that one of Samtgemeinde Elbmarsch, they had been inverted and divided by the wavy line. The municipality used the arms of former municpality of Rönne, which means trench or chamfer. The arms were canting related to Rönne.

    Marschacht Flag Proposal

[Marschacht proposed flag] 3:5 image by Klaus-Michael Schneider, 15 Sep 2008

It is a yellow over green bicolour, both colours divided by a white, fessy, wavy line. In the centre of the flag the coat of arms is superimposed in that way, that the wavy lines on cloth and coat of arms are congruent. In the lower hoist are four golden balls.
    Meaning:
The golden balls are symbolising the four settlement cores that formed the municipality: Obermarschacht, Niedermarschacht, Eichholz and Rönne. The formation is the same as it would be on a map. The draft without the balls was probably chosen in order to see Marschacht as a unit.

    Tespe Coat of Arms

The upper part of the shield has a red fimbriation. The shield is divided per fess. On the base is a silver (=white), wavy fess in a green field meaning the river Elbe within its marches. Above is the gable-side of a typical North German farmhouse having a black roof, red walls and black half-timbering.
    Meaning:
The wavy fess is symbolising river Elbe. The house upon dyke is symbolising the location of the village on the bank of the river behind the dykes.
