Boos Coat of Arms

Renaissance shield parted per fess of Gules and Azure, charged with a fleur-de-lis Or.
Meaning:
Supreme liege lord in the village had been the princely Abbey of Kempten between 1371 and 1551. The partition pe fess of red and blue is also an element of the arms of the abbey. In 1551 Anton Fugger acquired the village and he ended the fiefdom of the abbey in 1552. The family, represented by the fleur-de-lis, owned the village until 1806 and had also the complete cognisance.
