Shield Argent a rifleman's hat Vert decorated by a feather Sable and a bunch of flowers Gules, base wavy Azure charged with a fish Argent.
Meaning:
The hat is taken from the pre-1978 arms of the municipality. Riflemen are organised in shooting clubs (German: Schützenvereine), originally a security guard for local parishes, nowadays a mixture between sport and carnival. The hat is symbolising the keeping of tradition and ancient customs. The fsh had been part of the arms of the former municipalities of Oberfischbach, where it was in chief, and Unterfischbach, where it was in base. The base wavy is symbolising the fountain of the iodine water, which is important for the spa of Bad Tölz.
