Lohkirchen Coat of Arms

Gules, between in chief dexter a fleur-de-lis and sinister a plough-share a neo-gothic portal all Argent doors Or furnished Sable.
Meaning:
The portal is a representation of the restored gate of the local parish church from the 19th century in Neo-Gothic style. The portal is stressing the importance of the local parish church since the 8th century and is also alluding to the municipality's name, meaning church in the forest glade. The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of St. Mary, the local patron saint. The plough share is symbolising the rural character. The tinctures red, silver and gold are those of the Archbishopric of Salzburg, the manorial lord until 1802. The archbishop also had the right to appoint the local parish priest.
