Shield Gules, a griffin rampant Argent, holding a gemmed cross of the same with his forepaws.
Meaning:
Griffin and cross are traditional armourial elements of the Imperial Premonstratensian Abbey of Rot upon Rot, which owned large estates in nearly all parts of the nowadays municipality.

The arms had been overtaken from the namesake pre-1975 municipality. The banner was approved on 24 July 1977 by Biberach county administration, published in GABl 295/1978.
