The logo is composed of a winged human figure standing on a disc holding something that might be a sail.

The flag is the logo in inverted colors (that is white over blue) over
a blue rectangular background (photo,
source [retrieved]).
The logo depicts an active human figure using its energy to dynamically encircle the globe in the
air, on the seas and on land. It was designed after a 15th century ink drawing
attributed to the German master Peter Vischer (source).
Panalpina was a forwarding and logistics services, specializing in
intercontinental air freight and ocean freight shipments and
associated supply chain management solutions.
The company traces its origins to the establishment of forwarding
company Hans Im Obersteg & Cie. Ltd. established in 1895 in Basel.
In 1935 by the Group's former parent company Schweizerische Reederei
Ltd ended the takeover of the earlier.
In 1954 all freight forwarding activities of the former parent company
are grouped under a holding company named Alpina Internationale
Transporte Ltd.
In 1960 it was renamed Panalpina World Transport.
19832015: Several acquisitions of transport, logistic and other companies.
On April 1, 2019 it was announced that DSV would acquire Panalpina
Welttransport Holding AG (Aktiengesellschaft) (English: Panalpina
World Transport Holding Inc.), completed on August 19, 2019.
The Panalpina Group operated a network of some 500 branches in 80
countries; in a further 60 countries, the group cooperates closely
with selected partners.
