About the flag of the City of Welland in Ontario, Canada:

Our City Flag: is Blue, Yellow, Red and Black

In August, 2002 a By-law to adopt a Bilingual Flag for the Corporation of the City of Welland was passed.

Photos of a logo-based flag was posted by Justin Nicholls to the FOTW Facebook group Flags and Vexillology in October 2024.

I was told by Marc MacDonald, Welland's Chief Communications & Engagement Officer, that the flag is a "city-branded" flag flown at city facilities. It has not replaced the coat of arms flag as the city's official flag.

The new branding logo was adopted by Welland in March 2023.
