The arms show a yellow/golden upright pall on red, with a six-pointed star in each of the three fields.
According the communal website the three golden stars represent on the one hand the three municipal districts, which are Kobersdorf, Lindgraben, and Oberpetersdorf, and which have been united to form the municipality of Kobersdorf since January 1, 1971. On the other hand they also symbolize the three predominant religious denominations in Kobersdorf, Protestantism, Catholicism, and Judaism.
On 18 June 1996, the market town of Kobersdorf was granted the right to bear a municipal coat of arms in recognition of its cultural commitment.
The official colours are red and yellow.
