Description of the flag

The current flag of Escobar was adopted in 2023, following public contest with around 100 proposals

The design features the figure of the sun as a symbol of power and the union of the people towards the future. The seven rays represent each of the towns in the Escobar district. The national flower of Ceibo is a tribute to the struggle and courage of Argentines and in turn represents the National Flower Festival. The semicircles between the sun's rays reflect the Japanese Garden bridge, Escobar's emblem, which in turn is a symbol of the union of cultures. The winner was Escuela Primaria Nš21 de Maquinista Savio.
