The Associate AG's field looks like a dark bluish-green on Jack's chart, the Solicitor General's is a slightly purplish red, different from other red flags.

The Attorney General is head of the Department of Justice and the fourth ranking member of the cabinet (behind the Secretaries of State, Treasury, and Defense). The flag is
ultramarine blue--a brighter shade than other cabinet secretaries--with the central device of the Department of Justice seal on it and a white star in each corner. Below the shield is a scroll inscribed "Qui pro
Domina Justitia Sequitur," which is conventionally translated "Who prosecutes on behalf of our
Lady Justice." The dimensions are 52 x 66 inches like other flags of senior officials; the fringe is white.
According to [kng49], page 642, this flag was adopted in 1932.

"as for the Attorney General, except the base [field] shall be teal". No mention of any change in color of stars or fringe, or if there is any fringe or not.

It should be pointed out that there is only one Associate AG (a number of Assistant AGs).
