The Minnesota Vikings joined the National Football League (NFL) as an expansion team in 1961. The Vikings have
competed in both the National Football Conference - Central Division (1961-1969), and in the National Football Conference - North division (2002-present). The team uses the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota, for its home games. As of 2016 the Vikings have made it to the Super Bowl four times, but never won.
