The American football team named the Tennessee Titans are based in Nashville, Tennessee. They compete in the American Football Conference (AFC) South division, part of the National Football League (NFL). They first played in the American Football League (AFL) as the Houston Oilers between 1960-1969, then after the AFL-NFL merger in 1970 they became part of the NFL. The Oilers won their first two AFL Championships before the merger, and have won 28 aditional NFL Divisional Championships since then as the Titans (as of 2016).
In 1997 the Oilers moved their franchise to Tennessee playing at the Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium in Memphis for one season, then moved to the Nashville in 1998 and played in Vanderbilt Stadium. At first calling themselves the "Tennessee Oilers," they soon changed their name to the Titans in 1999. Today they play at Nissan Stadium (Adelphia Coliseum) in Jacksonville, Florida.
Note: Be aware that there are a host of manufacturer's variants of these and other fan flags being marketed for "Titans" fans. This includes garden flags, banners, and pennants.
