The flag is a blue field with the county logo in the center. The flag was
designed by Dean Gallagher, and was raised on the County Courthouse during flag
day on June 14, 2024.

I don’t think that is a county flag. Note the six-pointed star between the
words “PISCATAQUIS” and “COUNTY”, certainly a symbol of the Sheriff’s Department
of that place. All of the other flags in the photo are of SDs of various Maine
Counties (except the US, ME and unidentified municipal flag in the back) so I
think that is one as well.
The county has
a distinctive logo that one might
assume would be featured, but it does not appear to be there.
