The flag is horizontally divided yellow-green. In the yellow
field is placed a white bird surrounded by a red circle and a
11-pointed star with "soft" points. In the green field,
a yellow bee is surmonted by a row of four yellow hexagons with a
white border and surmonts a white horizontal wavy line.

"The shield per fess by or and vert. In the first field
is the gules sun with eleven beams, on which is the argent
pigeon, accompanied azure dexter and vert sinister flanks. In the
second field is or bee accompanied by four honeycombs at the top
and wave argent fess at the bottom. The emblem adorned by or
decorative cartouche.
The gules sun symbolizes the Christ who suffered, has died and
has revived from dead with the help of Sacred Spirit which
symbolizes the white pigeon. Eleven corners of a solar crown mean
apostles whom remained to the true Teacher. The or background and
pigeon symbolize Divine light and Sacred Spirit.
The bee symbolizes the reason of village occurrence. Four
honeycombs mean four villages on this territory. The argent fess
means the Oskol river. Argent border means an invisible wall
which the God protects village from evil."

"According to a legend, the first settlers took out on a
place of the future village for an apiary. After a while they
have ceased to come back to winter home, and built village. In
frosty weather above their roofs was the smoke from furnaces
(kyrytysya)."
