Presentation of the Turkish Bar Association

The Turkish Bar Association (website) was established by Law No. 1,136, promulgated on 7 July 1969. TBB held its first meeting in Ankara on 9 and 10 August 1969, and its first General Assembly in İstanbul on 30 October 1969.
Headquartered in Ankara, TBB groups some 100,000 lawyers from 79 bars.
