The Payas Organized Industrial Zone (website) was established in Hatay Province as part of the 1995 Investment Program of the Ministry of Sciences. Its creation was announced on 2 January 1995 in the Turkish official gazette No. 22,159.
The industrial zone covers 53 ha, the main activity being iron and iron products manufacturing, especially the İskenderun Iron and Steel Factory.
The flag of the Payas Organized Industrial Zone (photo, photo, photo) is white with the zone's emblem.
