These are not flags. They are small (about 4×10 cm) stripe for using on
demonstrations on soviet holydays (1 of May, Workers’ Day; 7 of November,
Revolution Day; etc). You may strengthen this stripe on your clothes, you
may add a hoist and make a small banner. You can find thousands of
different designs ot the stripes: with coat of arms, with
profile of Lenin, with flowers and many-many others.

I received this flag from a friend of mine in Ekaterinburg. It is a Prazn,
or Holiday flag, particularly Spring, with the flowers and all. This flag has
the manufacturers name and cost on the back hoist edge. This flag is also shown
on this
website on the internet.

The inscription reads: «С
праздником»
which means «Happy holiday» (litterally «[congratulations]
with [the] holiday»). It’s interesting to note that the star is
solid yellow, not red with yellow
fimbriation, somehow confirming some relaxation among soviet flag
makers.

I found this flag on iBazar.com (a French e-auction site).
