The arms are Vert a tower Argent with port and windows Gules flanked by two wings Or respectant each fitted with a human hand holding a sword Argent, in base on a bar wavy Argent charged with a barrulet wavy Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "ATALAIA - VILA NOVA DA BARQUINHA".
