Shield Or, an eradicated chestnut tree Vert fruited Argent with chestnuts slit Or, in chief a watermill's paddlewheel (turbine wheel or pelton wheel or rotor) Gules between two lozenges Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "S. JOÃO DA CORVEIRA".
