Shield Or, a bar wavy Argent, in chief within a nimbus Or a Paschal Lamb couchant Argent, in base an orange proper leafed Vert at dexter and a millstone Sable garnished Argent at sinister. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "RIBEIRA SECA - VILA FRANCA DO CAMPO".
Meaning:
The bar wavy is a canting lement. The Paschal Lamb is an attribute of St. John the Baptist, probably being the local patron saint.
