As the shield of the 1st coat of arms was quartered and the tinctures didn't follow heraldic rules, these arms probably not had been passed the CHAAP's requirements. It displayed, only in black, white and yellow all elements of the current arms as follows: a demi millwheel issuant from water in dexter chief quarter, the western façade of the local monastery in sinister chief, a radiant sun in dexter base, a corn plant in sinister base. Probably they had also been placed upon a plain white flag.
