Shield Gules, a Paschal Lamb surrounded by an annulet Or, acc. to blazon being a nimbus, flanked by four fig leaves Or ordered 1:2:1, in base a bar wavy divided Argent over Azure over Argent. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "FIGUEIREDO - SERTÃ".
Meaning:
The Paschal Lamb is an attribute of St. John the Baptist, the local patron saint. The fig leaves are canting elements, as the commune's name means fig tree.
