Shield Vert, a mitre Argent with its scarves, beneath a count's coronet Or, in chief a rose Or seeded Gules and flanked by two thistles Argent, in base a barrulet wavy Azure fimbriated Argent. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "CARREGOSA".
