Shield Argent with base wavy of Azure and Argent, an eradicated pine Proper fruited Or, beneath two branches of urtica Vert in saltire, in chief two flowers Purpure seeded Or, one in each corner. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "ORTIGOSA".
Meaning:
The urtica branches (Port.: ortiga) are canting elements.
