On white field there is a green aqueduct with four arches, flanked by two green, embattled towers, beneath the left arch is a green fountain.
Meaning:
The fountain is taken from the former Falagueira arms. Two embattled towers, slightly different had been common elements in the arms of both former communes. The aqueduct is a new element and a representtion of the Free Waters Aqueduct (Port.: Aqueduto das Águas Livres; see here.

Shield Vert two towers Argent masoned Sable with ports Gules in fess, on chief two pomegranates addorsed Argent seeded Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and short white scroll, in Bénard-Guedes style, reading in black upper case serifed letters "FALAGUEIRA-VENDA NOVA".
Meaning:
The towers and a complete tree of pomegranate had been part of the arms of both predecessors. The tree is also a charge on the arms of Amadora Municipality.

Falagueira-Venda Nova is one of the five communes of Amadora Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 20 788 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 2,9 km².

Shield Vert, a well Argent (see left image above) spitting water of the same and flanked by two towers Argent, in chief a pomegranate tree eradicated Argent with 11 pomegranates of the same seeded Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank)and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "FALAGUEIRA - AMADORA". Also displayed with well Or (see right image above) spitting water Argent and the towers have ports Vert.

Symbols not published in Diário da República:, thus it is impossible to say, which version is right. Falagueira kept the symbols of the former Falagueira/Venda Nova Commune without approval.

The former Falagueira/Venda Nova Commune was divided into two communes on 12 July 1997 and reunited in 2013. Falagueira was one of the ten communes of Amadora Municipality affected by the 2013 changes. It had 14 531 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 1,5 km².
