Shield Or with base wavy of Azure and Argent an eradicated oak Vert acorned Argent and in chief a dolmen Gules. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "VILA CHÃ - ALIJÓ"

Vila Chã was one of the ten communes of Alijó Municipality not affected by the 2013 changes ; it had 445 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 20.23 km².
