Potęgowo - rural commune, Słupsk County, Pomorskie Voivodship - Kashubian name: Potãgowo; German name: Pottangow.
Gmina Potęgowo is a rural gmina (commune) in Słupsk County, Pomeranian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.
Its seat is the village of Potęgowo, which lies approximately 30 kilometres (19 mi) east of Słupsk and 76 km (47 mi) west of the regional capital Gdańsk.
Area: 227.92 sq.km (88.0 sq.mi); Population: 7,147 (2006).

Arms and flag adopted on February 21, 2003 (resolution # VI/20/2003).
"Arms: on the white, Spanish-style shield the red fish-griffin turned to the right with golden beak and talons. Beak is open, tongue is red and the eye pupil black. The fishtail is blue.
Shield's header is a stripe with the alternating color bars: gold-red-gold-red.
The stripe is 1/10 of the height of the shield.
At the bottom of the shield ts a blue, wavy band, again 1/10 of the height of the shield.

Flag: white field with the Arms and a bottom part is the stripe like in the header of the shield of Arms. That stripe takes 1/5 of the width of the flag."
