Blazon: I grønt to gull furukongler, 1-1. In English: Vert two pine cones or in pale.
Approved by the crown prince-regent's resolution of 21 April 1989.
I found nothing more then the most obvious, as stated on http://ngw.nl/heraldrywiki/index.php?title=Drangedal  "The arms show two pine cones, as a symbol for the many forests in the area."
