Blazon: I rødt et gull drikkehorn. In English: Gules a drinking horn or.
Approved by the royal resolution of 7 September 1984 after a drawing by Harald Trætteberg.
The Løiten Brænderi distillery established in 1855 made the place famous in Norway. But the drinking horn is said to represent culture, as well as agriculture and eventually the modern industry culture. [c2j87] notes that a drinking horn is a well known heraldic charge in Norway and found in a number of heraldic seals since the Middle Age.
