Flag adopted 24 Sep 1986; design: K. van den Sigtenhorst
Flagdescription: Yellow with an eagle of 4/5 flagheight, with on its
breast a yellow shield, charged with a red lion, the shield surmounted
by an imperial crown in yellow and red, all executed in black contourlines;
the eagle is shifted towards the hoist at the separation of hoist and fly
(1/3 of flaglength); the flag is proportioned 2:3.

Official Dutch name: Hoogheemraadschap van Schieland; seat: Rotterdam.
Flag: yellow, with in the center a red lion, tongued and nailed blue
of 4/5 flagheight.
The flag of Callantsoog, adopted 1973,
is identical to the Schieland flag, adviced by the High Council of Nobility.
