Description of the flag

The municipality of El Rosario (8,036 inhabitants in 2020, 4,237 in the town of El Rosario; 1,408 ha) is located 50 km south of Managua and 5 km south-east of Jinotepe.

The flag in actual use now is horizontally divided dark blue-green.
