The flag, as part of the Act of the municipal coat of arms, flag and march, was adopted on 28 February 2021 during the Council's 5th solemn session. Article 6 states that the flag is the municipal distinctive ensign. It is a rectangle divided into three equal vertical stripes, from hoist to fly: blue, white, green; with the municipal coat of arms in the center of the white stripe. Blue represents loyalty, perseverance and the sky; white is for peace, religion, and unity; while green symbolizes hope, fertility, and natural wealth.
