Bungoma County is located in south-western
Kenya on the border with Uganda, in
the former Western Province of Kenya. The county was formed in 2010 when
the Mount Elgon District was abolished and the area under its jurisdiction
merged to form Bungoma.

The flag is illustrated and described in The Bungoma County Flag, Emblems and Names Protection Bill of 2014 which can be accessed here as follows:
The County coat of arms with three white stars on the top, the left and right side superimposed centrally on a green coloured triangle superimposed on the left end of three major strips of equal width coloured from top to bottom navy blue, red and black and separated by narrow white strips.
