Located in Iwata City Shizuoka Prefecture and established in 1994. The embroidered ceremonial flag has dark green background with a silver and gold old logo mark in gold fringe. The university flag has white background with a green and yellowish green symbol mark and horizontally written in black with the English initials university name. The old logo mark is in the form of three leaves. The symbol mark uses the initial "S" of Shizuoka Sangyo University (SSU) as a motif, drawing a parabolic line to represent the image of a positive "evolving wind," fluttering wings, and a sense of direction for the future. The overlapping of the two S's gives a more dynamic feeling of change, growth, ascent, and expansion.
