The logo and other emblems of the JSF was changed in September 2021. The use of the kanji for ice, but also showing that character as a skater in motion, was created to build a connection between the federation, the skating family and overall society. The use of gold on the emblem is to denote the color of top medal prize during competitions. This new logo is used on flags, either just using the JSF letters only or using the full name.
