The logo of Northern Technical University has a golden border shaped as a dome. At the bottom is Northern Technical University in Arabic (white) and in English (gold). The background of this logo is blue. To the sides are golden branches, curved and pointing to a star. Underneath this star is IRAQ in gold. Underneath them is a symbol and years of foundation; to the left 2014 in the regular calendar and to the right 1435 as the Hiriji year of its establishment, both in white. In the center: above is an open book reading its initials of N and U on its pages, stylized to show more pages. In between the two pages is a stylized torch of enlightenment; below: a castle depicting a graph rising (left) on its tower; a computer screen with symbols emerging (right) on its tower; in the center a depiction of a monitor; and above this two cogwheels. These show the mission of the university.
