The flag is white with the logo centered upon it. The logo depicts in the very center the Kurdistan Regional Government logo. In its silver ring, black branches are seen to the sides. At the top, Ministry of the Interior is read in Kurdish, Arabic, and English. In the white outer ring having a black outline, at the top is the directorate name in Kurdish; to the bottom-left in English; to the bottom-right in Arabic. In between these texts is a clipart icon: in the upper-right a flask, upper-left a microscope, and at the bottom a magnifying glass over a fingerprint; all for the directorate's mission.
