The Flag

COSQC is an independent government agency founded in 1979 by Law No. 54. The flag is white with the logo diagonally placed upon it to appear upright.

For the outer ring of the logo: the upper half is a semicircle which carries the organization name in Arabic over a white rectangle. The lower half is a cogwheel. All details on the logo are in purple besides the background which is white. In the center is a compass, with a basket (?) showing a graph rising; these symbols show its mission of standardization/quality control. Underneath are the initials of C.O.S.Q.C. and the name IRAQ.
