Acceded to the Union of India on Jan.1, 1948,
Flag:
"The Principality of Jashpur has a plain, dark blue flag with the Arms in the
center. The Arms are a demi-lion holding an axe, outlined in light blue and a
ribbon with the name of the state : ' Jashpur State E.S.A." where E.S.A. stands
for Eastern States Agency. The lettering is done in the same color as the flag -
dark blue"
