"The crown relates to the self-government of the village and the market town rights given by Queen Mary [1382-1395]. On the shield in the right field there is Saint Mary the Virgin the Patron Saint of Hungary and Patron Saint of the village. On the gold field you can see the church of the village too. Above you can see the coat of arms of Blessed Buzad [before 1222-1241] who was the lord lieutenant of Vas county later Dominican monk and Roman Catholic martyr. In the left field you can see the colours (red-white) of the Árpáds relates to the origin of the village. In the blue field you can see "A waterfowl" with fish, grapes and corn relates to the agriculture. The blue colour of this field relates to the Little Balaton Swamp.".
