The Hong Kong Life Saving Society, founded as the Hong Kong Life Guard Club in 1956, is the sole organization that conducts examinations and awards credentials for aquatic lifesaving in Hong Kong. It is a founding member and a full member of the International Life Saving Federation.
The pennant since 1997 is white with an upright red cross, the bauhinia in
the upper hoist quadrant, and the letters H.K.L.S.S. in white on the horizontal
cross arm.
