Communauté d'agglomération du Pays de Dreux (81 municipalities; 115,092 inhabitants in 2016; 105,570 ha) was established in 2014 as the merger of the former Communauté d'agglomération Dreux agglomération and of the Communautés de communes of Val d'Eure-et-Vesgre, Villages du Drouais, Val d'Avre, Thymerais, and Plateau de Brézolles.

Beauce de Janville

The flag of Beauce de Janville (photo) was white with the authority's logo.
In 2015, 163 windpumps were operated on the territory of Cœur de Beauce (website), producing 50% of wind energy at the regional level and 4% at the national level. A number of 200 is expected to be operated in a near future.
The first windpumps in Region Centre were inaugurated in the district of Janville in November 2005 (technical description).
