Overview

The Pyrenees–Mediterranean Euroregion (Euroregió Pirineus Mediterrània; Eurorégion Pyrénées–Méditerranée; Eurorregión Pirineos Mediterráneo) was founded on the 29 October 2004. It is a is a European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) within the European Union between Catalonia, the Balearic Islands (in Spain), and Occitanie (formerly Midi-Pyrénées and Languedoc-Roussillon) (in France). The Autonomous Community of Aragon suspended participation in 2006.

The Flag

In 2013 in front of the regional council of Midi-Pyrénées in Toulouse, the flag of the Euroregion could be seen: photo (2013). The flag is white with the logo.
