Description

Castellsera is a little village (pop. 1,300) in the province of Lleida, in the westernmost part of Catalonia. The flag consists of the village's coat-of-arms placed on the Catalan flag. The source of the image I sent is the official website of the local council. About its meaning, the only thing I can tell you is that the oldest name known of the village is Castell Serrat (serrated castle), hence the castle and saw on the arms. Time shortened the name to Castellsera.

Jordi Borda sent me an image of the Castellsera arms. I have placed it on the Catalan flag, and have received confirmation from him that it is good – although apparently it is more often used in a vertical format.
