The flag is a rotated banner of the arms (blazoned Azure, a latin cross formy Argent, debruised by five torteaux [or roundels Gules]). The cross represents the famous Cross of Vilabertran, a 14th century jewelry masterpiece. Flag adopted 29th January 1990. Source for image and text: Fluvià 2001.
