Shield Azure, issuant from base a triplemount Or, topped by a acorned cross Or.
Meaning:
On 1 July 1974 the upper village (Oberbalzheim) and the lower village (Unterbalzheim) merged, published in GABl 718/1974. The cross is on top of the belfry of the common local parish church, located in Unterbalzheim. The triplemount is alluding to the Counts of Kirchberg, former local rulers of both villages.
