Nußdorf Coat of Arms

Shield abased parted per fess, above Sable a demi-unicorn rampant issuant Argent, beneath Argent a pair of pliers Gules in bend.
Meaning:
The demi-unicorn is a differentiation of the family arms of the Lords of Nußdorf, local rulers between the 12th and the 17th century. The pliers are taken from the arms of the Barons of Amerang, who ruled the Sondermoning district (Bavarian: Hofmark) including Neuenamerang Castle between the 14th century and 1528.
